Colin Ley: [00:00:01] File this one under why should I have to worry about lawsuits. If you’ve got kids, kids who are driving. You should definitely worry about lawsuits. And here is a great reason why.
[00:00:14] So looking at this article here I saw. “Teen crashes car after driving blindfolded for bird box challenge.” So bird box is a movie on Netflix. People have been doing these different challenges while they’re blindfolded and some 17 year old decided to drive blindfolded. And predictably she got in a car accident and fortunately nobody was injured. [00:00:45] Think about this kind of thing. If somebody had been injured or there was some damages. Somewhere. Do you think that your insurance. Is going to cover this type of claim. Somebody intentionally driving blindfolded. That’s not going to happen and people aren’t going to go after the child. A child’s a child. They’re coming after the child’s parent. They’re coming after the owner of that vehicle and that’s you. [00:01:18] So if you have teenagers who are driving. Teenagers doing the bird box challenge. You should be worried about lawsuits.
